About Mujeres Unidas
Mujeres Unidas (Women Together) is a nonprofit organization established in 1978 with a mission to provide victims of domestic violence and their children a safe haven. They also provide a variety of social support services, including Rape Crisis Intervention, Community Education, and Counseling.
Mujeres Unidas is located in McAllen, Texas. They offer several opportunities for the community to get involved, such as volunteer opportunities, annual events, and corporate sponsorships.
Why Savannah Chose Mujeres Unidas
Savannah is passionate about supporting domestic violence victims in need in her community. She says,
