About Southern Skies Rescue
Southern Skies Labrador Rescue & Adoption is a nonprofit dedicated to the rescue and adoption of Labradors and other working dog breeds that have been abandoned at Alabama high-kill shelters or are owner surrenders/strays.
In addition to helping abandoned dogs find their forever home, their mission is to educate people on the importance of spay and neutering their pets to strive towards a no-kill society.
Why Jasmine Chose Southern Skies Rescue
As a proud pet owner, Jasmine has a strong appreciation for those who focus on rescuing and rehoming animals. She says, "I've noticed that Southern Skies puts a lot of effort into not only rescuing animals, but also into spreading the word about the dogs they have available to increase the chances of finding their forever home. By being such an active organization, they are helping reduce the number of dogs being euthanized."
