Hard Knocks Rescue & Training, Inc. (HKRT) is a local dog rescue and training business. Their motto is "doing what's right, not what's easy" because they focus on rehabilitating dogs who are often overlooked or have behavioral issues to ensure they are in the best shape to be adopted into their forever homes.
Why Jasmine Chose Hard Knocks Rescue & Training, Inc.
Jasmine tends to choose dog rescues as her nonprofit choice since she has two rescue dogs of her own. She says, "I have a dog who had major behavioral issues, so I know first-hand how essential training is and what a difference it can make. I like that Hard Knocks ensures that all of their dogs are properly trained prior to being available for adoption because it increases the chance of the dog doing well in its forever home. Their motto is spot on because it's not easy to train behaviorally-challenged dogs, but it is definitely the right thing to do. I'm very glad that we have a local organization that is dedicated to doing that."
