Boxing for a Cause is our way of giving back to our community. Every year, Image in a Box holds an annual contest via Downtown Huntsville's Tinsel Trail to get the whole community involved in our monetary contribution during the season of giving.
For this event, our team selects three nonprofits to compete in a public voting contest to see who will win the grand prize of a $1,500 donation. Not to worry, each nonprofit receives a small monetary gift, but only one wins the grand prize!

About Crisis Services of North Alabama
Crisis Services of North Alabama's (CSNA) mission is to respond to individuals and families in crisis. They provide emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence through HOPE Place, a community crisis line through HELPline (256-716-1000), forensic medical exams, and rape crisis counseling through our Sexual Assault Response program.
They are the local call center for the 2-1-1 information and referral initiative and for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK). They charge no fees for their services and are supported by the United Ways of the counties they service, through public and private grants, individual contributions, and fundraisers such as this one.

Jasmine chose the Crisis Services of North Alabama (CSNA) to be a part of the this year's contest because she appreciates the support they give to individuals and families in crisis.
She says, "It's comforting to know that there is a local resource that offers support when times are tough. CSNA offers a variety of programs that can help change people's lives for the better, whether it's someone to talk to or forensic medical exams and counseling. It's critical to have an organization like this in our community, and that is why I am choosing to help them win $1,500!"
